Drop-In Availability & Guidelines

Drop-in advising is intended for quick advising questions and is limited to 15-minute sessions. Services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Students may discuss the following topics during drop-in advising:

• Adding/dropping a class
• Confirming articulation for Community College course(s)
• Discuss eligibility for excess units
• Enrollment issues
• Enrolling up to 12 units (full-time status)
• Finding a General Education course
• Waitlisting a course
  
  

Change of major advising is NOT available during drop-in advising. 

Check-in Process

In-Person Drop-Ins:
Check-in at the front desk at Sweeney Hall 106. The front desk will check you in and you will meet with the next available advisor. 

Virtual Drop-Ins: 
Check-in on Spartan Connect during the posted virtual slots to access the zoom link. If you are unable to find the zoom link after going on Spartan Connect and choosing drop in advising please reach out to our office for support.
